RUSSIA– Boris Berezovsky, Russian billionaire, accused Russian Prime Minister Putin of having known that FSB (state security service) was behind bombings of Russian apartments in 1999 that killed over 200 people. Immediately after the blasts the Russian government said it was the work of Chechen "terrorists" and days later launched attacks on Chechnya. [Time Magazine, March 18, 2002]

These revelations come as no surprise. This is the well-worn system of the Jews to carry out attacks, blame them on the Muslims and use them as an excuse to arrest, kill and hound Muslims.

YEMEN AND GEORGIA– About 200 U.S. military advisers are stationed in Georgia, a country neighbouring Chechnya. The old enemies, Russia and America are uniting in the war against the Muslims. Meanwhile, in Yemen, U.S. troops are aiding in the hunt for Al-Qaida members. It seems that every country in the world has Al-Qaida links. All the excuse needed to go after and torture Muslims is to call them Al-Qaida.

PALESTINE- "The Palestinians must be hit and it must be very painful. We must cause them losses, victims, so that they feel a heavy price." These are the words of Ariel Sharon, mastermind of the Sabra and Shatilla massacres of Muslims in 1982 and now the Jewish Prime Minister. This followed an unprecedented wave of martyrdom attacks by young Muslims in Palestine. The first week of March saw the Jews sustaining more losses (113) than the Palestinians (49). The biggest Jewish offensive was unleashed on the Palestinians as a result. Despite being out numbered in arms, the Palestinians still valiantly defended their cities. The Jews were unable to take the towns of Nablus and Jenin.

Among the areas invaded by the Jews were several refugee camps.

American President George Bush showed his true colours of Muslim-hatred and in the process offended the Muslim world when he arrogantly labelled the martyrs who carried out the suicide bombings "murderers". The treatment being meted out to Arafat is a harsh reminder to anyone who wants to take the Jews as friends that never will they be true in their friendship to a Muslim.

PAKISTAN– Two weeks ago President Musharraf’s government arrested and handed over approximately 200 foreign Mujahideen who had taken refuge in Pakistan. The Pakistani government has already seemed to have exceeded all bounds, by arresting and handing over to America, people who have left their homes and families for the sake of defending Islam and the Muslims.

AFGHANISTAN - KABUL (Special Report): The Coalition forces of disbelief have not yet achieved any of their war objectives as regards damaging or harming the Mujahideen. The only people to have been harmed in this Crusade are civilians, for which Americans have no regard. In a humourous study, the US Government recently declared that the latest Crusade on Afghanistan was the most accurate ever, with 75% of bombs reaching their targets. Given that over 15,000 Afghan civilians have been killed in this Crusade, one wonders as to how many civilians were killed in Iraq when the American weapons were less 'accurate'. Since US warplanes carried out 109,876 sorties in the Gulf War, even if one uses this 'accurate' figure of 75% reaching their target, this means that over 25,000 sorties (each releasing several bombs) directly affected civilians (by US estimates). One can only guess how many Muslim civilians were killed by this 'accuracy'. Yet, no statement from the American Muslim Council or the Muslim Council of Britain. No offers of blood donations from the so-called leaders of the Muslim countries and communities. No messages of condolences on the web-sites of apolegetic Muslim organisations. Do these 'Councils', organisations and 'leaders' really represent Islam and the Muslims?

Gujarat Continues To Burn, Mobs Still Rule Streets

UNABATED VIOLENCE
‘Newton’ Modi, who boasted to have controlled the riots in 'record 72 hours' is yet to calm Gujarat. Ahmedabad, Vadodra and other areas are again under curfew. People are still being stabbed and killed, businesses are still being looted and torched. Even refugees are being attacked by the saffron criminals while their political bosses are demanding refugees’’ eviction from their shelters because, to their sick minds these hapless people pose a ‘security threat’.
Even after a month since the eruption of the planned violence following the still to be probed Godhra train incident on 27 February, the act of ethnic cleansing continues unabated.

STATE PROTECTION
Well-secured under government patronage the marauders are doing their bit to do a Bosnia in our own backyard under Milosevic Modi’s leadership. The events clearly point out that a secret army has been reared by the saffron bosses to be used to teach lessons, economically cripple and uproot Muslims.

THOUSANDS BURNT
Thousands of people have been burnt alive and at least a hundred thousand people have been rendered homeless. The number of people taking shelter in camps run by riot-hit Muslims themselves exceeds fifty thousands in Ahmadabad alone.
As we go to press there is no semblance of law in Gujarat, no police to enforce order, and the army too is selectively and thinly deployed and subject to the orders of those who ran the street show since 28 February. The killer mobs are roaming streets to ensure that not a single Muslim man or woman is left alive.

WELL-PLANNED
It said that the way Muslims were killed and their businesses destroyed in Ahmadabad, Surat and Baroda shows that everything was very well-planned. It is commonly said that what has come out in the open is just a fraction of the human and material losses in the state. The toll in rural areas stays unknown. Sangh hooligans have not allowed free movement till now. The true picture may never come out. Many localities, mosques and dargahs have been obliterated from the face of the earth in quick, precision operations which are beyond the pale of ordinary hoodlums.

GANG RAPES
Reports of gang rape preceding murder and roasting alive of Muslim women are coming out from every area. Survivors in Shah Alam and other camps in Ahmadabad have narrated as to how their sisters and daughters were taken as loot by the saffron killers. The narrative of a Muslim man whose mother, wife and daughter were all outraged by the saffron crusaders before being torched, has been flashed all over the world.

NO WORLD RELIEF
While all this is taking place in the "world's largest democracy", no one is coming forward to assist the riot victims. No relief, local or international, is coming forward. No national newspaper has launched a campaign to collect donations for relief work and the prime minister has forgotten that he sits on a huge fund exactly for such contingencies. This overall apathy is in sharp contrast with what was witnessed after the earthquake in the same area a year ago.

WORLD RESPONSE ZERO
Human rights organizations at home and abroad are mum. No embassy has uttered a word. Muslim countries, too, are no exception. Barring Pakistan, Bangladesh and Iran, no other Muslim country seems to have uttered a single word on this genocide. No relief has come from oil-rich Arab countries for their fellow Muslims in this hour of utter need. Indian Muslims, who have been in the forefront of supporting pan-Islamic causes for a century, will have to take stock of their situation. They need to rethink their priorities and devise ways to save themselves while leading their lives as principled and law-abiding citizens. Gujarat should be a watershed for the community and the country. Enough is enough. "

Ahmedabad, 30 April: At about 1:30 am early Tuesday, a grave incident of police atrocity took place in Taiwada, Wadi area in Vadodra city. A few Muslims were sitting in front of their homes, keeping vigil against possible attacks by the miscreants. Suddenly about five policemen surreptitiously entered the area on foot and opened fire indiscriminately, killing two Muslims on the spot. These have been identified as Abid Delawala (29 years) and Noorbhai Karvania (45 years).

Police has been playing a clear partisan role in the on-going riots of Gujarat. Most of the people killed and injured by police firing are Muslims according to umpteen media and fact finding missions' reports. Police officers who refused official instructions to side with the rioters have been sidelined and transferred. ‘

IN A HISTORIC GESTURE, SIKHS RETURN MOSQUE TO MUSLIMS

New Delhi - April 6: A new chapter was inked in the Western Indian state of Punjab last week. While large-scale bloodshed continues in Gujarat and several other parts of the country over the issue of the proposed Ram temple construction at the site of the now demolished Babri Masjid amid extremist demands to surrender "thousands" of other mosques, a historical mosque was returned to Muslims by the Sikh community. For the last fifty four years since Partition of the country this mosque, known as "Guru ki Maseet" (Guru's Mosque) was being used as a gurdwara (temple) by the Sikh community. The mosque is picturesquely situated on a hill overlooking a curve on the banks of the mighty Beas river in Punjab's Gurdaspur district.
Maulana Hamid Husain Qasmi, the Imam of the Jama Masjid in Amristsar, the largest city of the state, was specially called to lead the first prayers in the mosque on March 23. The mosque was constructed by Guru (Sikh religious leader) Hargobind Singh 370 years ago. According to Sikh tradition, the Guru had converted the house of a dead Muslim into a masjid and set up a langar (common kitchen) for the poor. Their tradition records an encounter between Guru Nanak, the first Sikh Guru, and some Muslims. A "memorandum of understanding" (MoU) has been signed by the Nihangs, the Sikh caretakers of the mosque, and the Punjab Waqf Board. For many years, this mosque has been maintained by the Nihangs as it was abandoned at the time of the Partition.
Why did a Sikh Guru build a mosque? Had it been a dharmshala (a rest house for Hindu pilgrims), it might have been destroyed by invaders. By building a mosque, and that too, by a Sikh Guru, it was ensured that people of all religions would protect it, Baba Kaladhari, a spokesman for the Sikhs, said.
